I have been called many names—some out of respect, others as jokes—and what you call me will dictate how well we know each other. I started as a humble student of hip-hop, imitating my older brother, beat-bopping in the mirror. At first, I just wanted to bond with my older brother, but what I didn’t realize was that I was actually forming a bond with music. Over the years, I moved to different places across the United States, learning firsthand about rhythms, grooves, and making moves. I was always the younger kid hanging out with adults, running errands like kids should. But who knew all my elders would grow to become legends in their own rights? Establishing relationships early in life with the game and its rules opened doors to rooms that most would never be allowed in. I would form connections early with pioneers in hip-hop, including icons like DJ KAY SLAY, BLACK ROB ,BENZINO,ROYAL-FLUSH to name a few. These relationships carried me far in the industry and helped establish even more connections within the music world of hip-hop. The joke was that, since I had access to so many artists, I should manage them. What started as me being their so-called bootleg manager quickly turned into something real. I became their actual manager, confidant, and friend. My journey as the Owner of Legendary Hip-hop Mgmt. has been built on trust, passion, and an unshakable love for hip-hop, and I continue to move forward, honoring the culture and the relationships that helped shape me.
